Layla & Ava’s Bedroom

Fit For a Princess

Growing up I never knew what I actually wanted to pursue as a career.  In middle school and high school we constantly had to take the career assessments and every single time my results would read “Interior Designer”. I absolutely love designing, decorating, and creating, which is a big reason I fell in love with photography.  I find myself browsing Home Goods, Hobby Lobby, Rose and Remington, and Kids Pottery Barn when I have some time all to myself.  I dreamed of a bright white and airy room for my girls, Layla and Ava, with soft pastel pink and gray.  There is something inside of me that gets such fulfillment out of creating the vision in my mind.  The crib, twin bed, as well as the dresser were my husband’s from his childhood and my father-in-law who is an amazing woodworker built the book shelf.  How incredibly special is that?  The girls’ room is now surely fit for a pair of princesses!
